Blossom & Kelp is an award-winning wedding florist in Cornwall, creating natural, seasonal floral designs for weddings, events and special occasions inspired by the Cornish landscape.
What is your floral design style?
Our style is relaxed, organic and slightly wild. We use seasonal flowers, textured foliage, grasses and seed heads to create designs that feel natural and timeless.
Who designs the flowers?
All floral designs are created by Rachel, founder and lead florist at Blossom & Kelp. You’ll work directly with her from your initial enquiry through to your wedding day.

What wedding floristry services do you offer?
We offer a full wedding floristry service, including bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers, table centrepieces, floral arches, installations, cake flowers, hair flowers, delivery, styling and clear-down where required.
Do you offer wedding flower consultations?
Yes, we offer a free consultation to all couples to discuss your venue, colour palette, floral style and budget so we can create a bespoke floral design. This can be a chat over the phone, virtually or in person.
Do you work with wedding venues across Cornwall?
Yes. We work with venues across Cornwall and the South West, designing flowers for both indoor and outdoor weddings.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
Wedding flower pricing varies depending on the scale and design. As a guide, try to allocate 10-15% of your total wedding budget to your flowers. We also offer smaller packages for intimate weddings, typically starting from around £350. A personalised quote is provided after consultation.
How far in advance should I book my wedding florist?
We recommend booking as early as possible (12-24 months) once your date and venue are confirmed, particularly for spring and summer weddings.
Do you deliver and set up wedding flowers?
Yes. We provide delivery, installation and styling on the day of your wedding to ensure everything looks exactly as planned. A delivery and set up fee will be applied, however, this depends on the size of your wedding and the distance we need to travel.

Can I request bespoke wedding flowers?
Absolutely. Bespoke wedding flowers are at the heart of what we do, and every design is tailored to your style and vision.
Sustainability & Flower Sourcing
Where do you source your flowers?
Wherever possible, we source flowers from our specially selected local Cornish growers. In the winter, we may have to supplement these with flowers sourced responsibly from trusted suppliers.
How sustainable is Blossom & Kelp?
Sustainability is central to our approach. We avoid plastic, compost green waste, reuse materials where possible and choose recyclable or biodegradable packaging.
Booking & Payments
How do I make an enquiry?
You can enquire via our website contact form, email or Instagram.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A deposit of £100 is required to secure your wedding or event date, with the balance due 2 months before the event.
What happens after I have paid the deposit?
Once a deposit has been paid, we’ll provide a tailored quote and mood board, with ideas and colour palettes. Please feel free to share any pinterest boards, colours or fabric swatches with us.
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
We understand plans can change. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can advise on next steps.

Do you offer wedding flowers outside Cornwall?
Yes. We’re happy to travel for weddings and events outside Cornwall. Travel details will be discussed during consultation.
Do you provide flowers for non-wedding events?
Yes. We also create bespoke florals for corporate events and large celebrations.
Do you provide flower care advice?
Yes. We’re always happy to share advice on caring for your flowers.
